Welcome to Voith Turbo Pty Ltd
Founded in 1972, Voith Turbo Pty Ltd (formerly Voith Australia Pty Ltd) is a member of the worldwide Voith group of companies headquartered in Heidenheim, Germany and is a part of the Voith Turbo GmbH & Co KG division.  For its sales and after sales service activities which cover the market of Australia and New Zealand the Company has offices, workshops and/or representatives in all major cities of Australia and New Zealand. In recent years Voith’s emphasis has been to value add to support products imported from Parent Company in Germany.



In 1992 a joint venture company Scharfenbergkupplung Australia Pty Ltd (now Voith Turbo Scharfenberg Pty Ltd) was formed. This venture, developed for local manufacture and assembly of railcar couplers, proved most successful.

Another growth area is Voith Turbo’s excellent overhaul and repair service for all Voith and associated products which covers constant and variable speed couplings, rail and bus transmissions, Voith Schneider Propellers and Scharfenberg Railway couplers. For many of these products a service exchange program is offered.
